VA Illiana Health Care System, Danville exists to honor America's Veterans. Since 1898, VA Illiana Health Care System supported the men and women who have so proudly served our nation by providing exceptional healthcare that improves their health and well-being. Patients will be referred to other VA facilities or to the community for any service not available at VA Illiana Health Care System.

 

Community-Based Outpatient Clinics

In addition to the main facility in Danville, Illinois, VA Illiana Health Care System offers services in four community-based outpatient clinics located in:

 

Mental Health

The mental health service at VA Illiana Health Care System provides consultation, evaluation, and state-of-the-art treatment for a variety of issues that can impact emotional well-being.

  • Encourages veterans to see many possibilities
  • Focuses on real life needs and goals
  • Helps veterans attain their goals
  • Offers hope and support for change

 

Women's Health

Women who have served in the Armed Forces are eligible for a variety of veterans benefits. VA actively encourages women to utilize the benefits due them.

The VA Illiana Health Care System Women's Health Program targets programs and facilities to meet the unique needs of female veterans. Services for women include —

  • gynecology services
  • breast exams and mammography
  • reproductive health care
  • menopause treatment

 

OEF/OIF

OEF/OIF combat Veterans are strongly encouraged to enroll in VA health care within the 5 year period after discharge or release.

OEF/OIF combat Veterans can receive cost free medical care for any condition related to their service in the Iraq/Afghanistan theater for five years after the date of their discharge or release. In order to take advantage of these benefits, OEF/OIF Vets need to enroll in VA's health care system. Don't delay!
